Analysing World Health Organisation life expectancy data and what it tells us.

We came across a very interesting dataset looking at the life expectancy around the globe from 2000 - 2015 and although this is a decade ago, history is a great predictor of the future. We decided to build a platform that allowed us to see all the historical data in context and map the data points against the percentage of expediture on health.

The platform shows the following for each year from 2000 - 2015 for every country:

• Average life expectancy
• Expenditure on health (as a percentage of GDP)
• Average BMI
• Average cases of Measles
• HIV/Aids deaths per 1000 births
